Bill & family -
Nan was such a special part of our relationship with Berean - her constant cheer, her genuine concern for individuals, and her deep warmth just made her such a delight to be with. My most special personal memory is of a time that was a tough one in our lives - a time when both Jerry and I were needing some direction and comfort - and Nan called. "Don't want to know all the details honey, just want to tell you I love you!" she said, and then hung up. It was a good thing she...

My first memory of Mrs. Brickey is of children's choir every Saturday. Marlene and I would ride our bikes to church faithfully, just for the honor of being with her.
The other memory that fills my mind when I think of Mrs. Brickey is her smile. She shone on everyone. The fruits of the Spirit shone in her life with every hug, word of encouragement, and the heavenly glow from her face.
We will all miss her, but of course, particularly her family. God bless you in your time of grief...

Condolences from the Wisers (Doug, Judi, & Derek) to the Brickeys during this difficult time. 'Mrs. Brickey's' children's choir is one of the joyful memories of my childhood. She always looked me up in a crowd to share a hug and a kind word. She was a wonderful friend to my mom, Mary Buffham. I want you to know how well appreciated the letters she sent were (when mom was stuck in the hospital at Myrtle Beach) - Dad (Lou) read them aloud to mom (Mary) and I each time they came and we...

Bill and Family,
Please know that I am thinking of you and I know that God will sustain you through this difficult time.
June

We want to send our deepest sympathy to the whole family. It was such a joy to bump into Nan and get the big smile and hug. Our family want you to know you are in our prayers. (Rob says hi to Susie and his condolences.) Our only hope is we know she is in a better place. Love to all. Michael Word Family

Dear Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you all and will miss Nan greatly. What a comfort to know she is with her Lord. We enjoyed looking at the photo album.
Your Virginia Family,
Ed, Ann & Katie Beth

Nan always brought happiness into our hearts as she will forever make us smile in our memories. She will be missed dearly by all of us at Covenant Village.

Family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
"Mrs. Brickey" was always a positive influence and example in my life and walk with the Lord. I always looked forward to her open delight and enthusiasm when we saw each other. I cherish the memories of Saturday morning choir practice and all the other times God allowed our paths to cross. God shone through her to me, my sister, Cheryl, and others in so many ways!
God's strong and loving arms are around each of you.

Dear Family, We want you to know how glad we are to have known such a wonderful woman of God. She was always interested in us and what we do. I will miss that wonderful smile and all the hugs. May the Lord be with you all during these day. Love Bruce and Barb VanderMeulen
