Not sure what to say?

If there is one person that I owe my future academic success to, it would be Mrs.Brooks. At the time I was in 3rd grade, she felt I needed to do 3rd grade over again. While at the time I know I walked around being mad about that, Mrs. Brooks leaned over and said- I will be on you even harder next year :) That's just how she was- an amazing teacher who would stay on top of you until the task at hand was complete. She had this thing where she'd stand over top of you and give you the I'm...

Tom, Jennie, and David,

As you know, I had the privilege of serving as Nancy’s principal for 9 years (1990-1999). She was an extremely dedicated teacher who worked long hours to ensure that those extra details were taken care of to create a smooth, meaningful day. She was a both a kind and firm teacher who ensured her students knew she cared about them both as individuals and as students.

Nancy had a few projects she carried out annually...

David and Family:
Lee and I share your sorrow for having lost such a dear mother and wife. For all the miles that have divided us over these past 11 years, it's amazing that we somehow were able to enjoy not just one but several visits with your mom. I always admired how gracious and welcoming she was to everyone. I'm sorry not to meet her again until I see her in Heaven.
Here is my prayer for you: May our God who is sovereign over all beginnings and all ends give you comfort and...

TO NANCY: You left us with quiet dignity, grace, and strength -- just the way you lived your tortuous years with Parkinson's. Your poem in the pamphlet for the Funeral Visitation was to the point and so eloquent. I am only one of many people who has many happy memories of you -- "of happy times and laughing times/and bright and sunny days." My tears won't "dry before the sun," but I know how much better a person I am for having been your sister-in-law.
TO TOM, JENNIE, AND...

I just wanted to let everybody in the family know that they are in my prayers. I'm thankful to have known Mrs. Brooks and will always remember her laugh, smile, and the way she cared about her students and children.

To the Brooks and Harris family..I send my most deepest sympathy.
For Carl & Bruce: My name is Pat Rogers Wayne. You may remember my mother Marguerite Cummings. She was a dear friend of you Carl and Sarah. She died several yrs. before Sarah. When Sarah died, it broke my heart. I remember, Carl, when you and Sarah moved to the Methodist Home. I also remember in such detail visiting Hawthorne Lane Church. I don't know the rest of the family, but I do extend my love to each and everyone of...

I've known Nancy since before our children were born (her David and my Amber) only days apart. She was a wonderful person, always so kind and thoughtful. My grandaughter, Audrey, was fortunate enough to be in Nancy's class and always spoke highly of her time with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom, Jennie and David. She will be missed by many.

I was at Seaford Elementary for my first year of teaching in 1997-98. I remember Nancy Brooks as a truly good person, so kind and so peaceful. With deepest sympathy and blessings to her family, Michelle Reisel

My Love and Prayers go with you. May GOD open his arms to welcome home one of his finest creations. I can never repay the calm and understanding that you graced upon me during a crisis time in my life as a young boy. I will forever be indebted. Until we all meet again.
Love, your Mothers Day Flower Admirer
