You Byrd children were especially blessed to have your mother with you for so many years. One memory from Dayton Elementary, where Dottie and I were classmates, remains vivid: Nancy´s visit to our class on Parents´ Day. She carried herself with such grace and quiet poise that the impression she left has stayed with me ever since.
