Not sure what to say?

Our sincerest condolences to the Cabana family on the loss of Nancy.
We are sorry we weren't there to express our sympathy and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chuck, Mia, and Nate -

I met Nancy while working as a reporter for the Register back in 2000 and she always held a special place in my heart. There are always those few people you interview who really touch you - and she was certainly one of them. She was a wonderful woman and I just wanted to send my condolences to you all. Abraham Lincoln once said, "And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years." I'm sure Nancy lived those years to...

I am deeply sorry about your loss. Mrs Cabana was the best teacher I ever had. She inspired so many students to succeed, includeing me. She truely was a great person.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chuck, Mia and Nathan,
Nancy was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I am so sorry for your loss.

Chuck,Mia & Nathan
As a friend of Gene Cabana my sympathies are with you and your family at this most difficult time. Our time of grieving is necessary and then we move on knowing that we are in the palm of God's hand and of a better time to come. The apostle John in Revelation 21:4 Says "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I pray this to be the hope for...

Mr. Cabana, Nate, and Mia,
My deepest sympathy to you all. Your Mom really was a fighter, and I always will remember that.

Nate,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family during this very difficult time.

I will almost always be next door!
Ana

I am not related to Mrs. Cabana, but she was realy close. She was my second grade teacher at Chapin. She was my favorite teacher. My dad new her husband because he used to be a friefighter. I will miss her dearly. and she will always be in my and my family's hearts.

I remember feeling very out of place during the first few days of teaching in Chapin Elementary. Nancy was like a "Ray of Hope," to me. She pulled me aside and reassured me that I would soon fit in. She beleived that I could make a difference. She became a friend.
