Continue resting in the Bosom of the Lord dear Miss Chapel. Your Sacrifice and great Work will live on for Generations Miss Nancy Chapel. You are Loved, Valued, Cherished, and you will remain in our hearts forever. -Alumnus, NKST Girls' Secondary School Uavande, Nigeria.

I did not meet you personally Ms Nancy but I am an Alumnus of the school you started and managed efficiently which is NKST Girls' Secondary School Uavande. I am inspired by your life and legacy ma'am. Continue to rest in Peace Ms Nancy Chapel.

In loving memory of Nancy Chapel. Ms Chapel you are an inspiration. I tell people stories about you and I promise to upgrade one of your favourite babies NKST Girls' Secondary School Uavande when I have the capacity. May your gentle soul continue to rest in peace.

Ms Chapel as she was fondly called at Uavande gave formal education to thousands of girls leading them to Christ in the process. She is deeply missed and will be fondly remembered. May you continue to rest in the bosom of Abraham. RIP Ms Nancy Chapel.

Ms Chapel founded NKST Girls' Secondary School Uavande, Benue State Nigeria in 1956. I am an Alumnus of the High School and was preparing to visit her and spend some time with her. I searched for her on all social media in 2016 and found an account linked to her only on LinkedIn so I signed up mainly to correspond with her but discovered she wasn't active anymore so I asked my friend Rev. Fr Peter Genger to find out about her this was November last year (2018) Fr. Genger gave me a message...

It was great, to come to know Nancy - she visited the church, where she made confession of faith at Uelsen in Germany in the 1980s. It was great, that Dolores Bos wrote a book at her live (Out of the dark to the light). And it was great, it was translated in German - the picture in this guestbook from sept. 19.
My first signing of this guestbook somehow was not posted. Nancy beleaved so strong - and helped so many people. We were blessed in her. Gerrit Jan Beuker, Germany

Nancy, you were part of our family for many years, and when I saw that you had gone home to be with Jesus, my first thoughts were of so many who were waiting to greet you. Your great friend, Mimi Doo Alu, who considered you to be her American mother, my Mom and Dad Hoogeboom, your missionary friends who worked with you in Nigeria, and so many others whose lives you touched. What a joyous occasion that must be for you and all of them!! I thank God for your life, and for giving you a pain free...

I didn't know Nancy that well, I met her at a retirement party, that her son had brought her to. She prayed for dinner that night, and people were just so glad to see her.I met her once and felt like I had known her my whole life. Great lady and I am glad I got to meet her. Sorry for your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers. ❤❤❤
