Not sure what to say?

Nancy's Beloved Family, may you always be sustained by the wonderful memories of dedicated true friend and teacher. She was loved by everyone privileged to know her as the sui ge-neris gracious lady of our time.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Nancy was my first instructor when I started evening Tri C classes at north Olmsted High in 1977. She was so good that I worked very hard to do my best after being out of school for a long time.

Then she retired not long after I did and I was so pleased to find that she would be teaching ILR classes at BW. So I signed up for everyone that she taught. She actually remembered me after 25 years.

One never forgets their best...

Nancy was not only a dear neighbor, but someone so talented and admirable. She will be sorely missed by so many. She gave so much to all of us and always had a cheerful smile. My deepest sympathy to her loved ones.

I was so saddened to hear of Mrs. Chubb's passing. She was so special. Mr. Chubb, Gretchen and Ali - you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

She was a great woman. She saw something in me that I didn't even see in my self and I love her for it.
'Billy Joel'

Our loss is heaven's gain. I met Nancy through the friendship of my daughter and Gretchen in grade school. Though we didn't keep in touch constantly, when we did meet and get together she had a special way of making you feel that you were the most important person in the world. She truly was an angel to me. I miss her dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

There are only a handful of people who ever really make a profound impact on our lives when we are young, and Mrs. Chubb was perhaps the one who did the most for me. Always quick with a smile, always encouraging, always there with her infectious laugh... My own kids have grown up hearing me tell of some of my fondest high school memories, and many of them revolved around this great lady. Even though we hadn't really kept in touch these last several years, this news hit me harder today than...

Gretchen and Ali, you and your kids are so lucky. What a quality person your Mom was. So unique. I stopped by not long ago and visited. When I left, I felt good. She had a way of making you feel good. She was so proud of what you've both accomplished and couldn't stop talking about your kids!

It's not surprising that both of you turned out to be very successful in life. You couldn't have had a better or more loving mentor. I remember her as one of most supportive parents during...
