Not sure what to say?

Thank you Nancy for being a wonderful teacher and friend. You taught me many things about life that no one else did.

We will miss her infectious smile, her wit, laughter and positive attitude. She was always a joy to have at our Grange Meeting at N-Scarboro.

I was stunned to hear about Mrs. Clark's passing. I fondly remember her as a teacher, neighbor, State Representative, and Senator. She'll be sadly missed. Sincere condolences to her family. MSgt. Norm Lewis, CA ANG (Ret.)

Thank you for being a wonderful teacher, mentor, and friend. What fun it was to help you and having pizza together. You will be missed my dear friend. Berta

If it hadn't been for Nancy, my Scarborough High School teacher, I never would have tried to go to college. But she encouraged me and I went to Husson for two years. Eventually received my Master's at BU. Nancy gave me that push and encouragement that I wasn't getting any place else. "We girls" were a little intimidated by her AND we just adored her.
I called Nancy a few years ago just out of the blue and she sounded exactly as she had in the 60's. She was gracious and warm. I smile...

I had the honor of serving with Nancy in the Maine Senate and have always held her in the highest regard. She was an extraordinary friend to our family, unfailingly gracious and always available to help in any way. She embodies the inherent decency of Maine people and will always be in my heart.

I taught school with Nancy in Freeport for many years. She was so proud of her town and family. When I first got hired at Freeport High School the new teachers got a bus ride around the community and Nancy was the tour guide. Nancy always had s strong voice for teachers and all working people in the State of Maine. I was shocked and devastated when she didn't re-elected to the senate in the 1990's. Who would want to run against the best senator in the state? Pax e Bene, Rev. G. Oleson, OCF

I knew Nancy when I was a high school student in the 1980s and lived in the Randall house on Main Street in Freeport. She gave me a history of the house and was an amazing resource in helping me understand politics as a student. She will be missed.
