Nancy C. Colt

COLT – Nancy C. Colt, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009. She was the loving wife of Richard Colt. Born October 11, 1925 in Torrington, CT; the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Joyce) Case. Nancy was a resident of Winsted for 60 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ, past President of the Women's Club for many years and Head of the social group CI Alpha. She also was the Manager of the Ladies Department from 1955-1988 at Colt's & Co in Winsted. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jeffrey Colt and his wife Amy of Southbury; a sister, Mary Thompson of Winsted; a niece, Barbara Thompson of Winsted; and 4 grandchildren, Heather, Ryan, Emily and Hannah. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Peter Colt and David Colt; and a sister, Joyce Kirkwood. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Church of Christ, Main Street, Winsted at 2 PM.
