Nancy's leadership and foresightedness for those with disabilities and as a champion within Rehab Counseling field brought learning and insights to many lives.
May Peace and wonderful memories sustain the family during this time.

Dr. Crew was such an inspiration and a wonderful mentor. I feel blessed to have been one of her students, and learned so much from her, which has helped me in my own Rehabilitation Counseling career. I will never forget her....

I knew Nancy as a fellow artist and grandmother. Her own creativity and support of other artists was a special inspiration to me when I needed it the most. I will never forget her.

Nancy was a dear friend, mentor and colleague. She was a gentle giant in the Rehabilitation Psych field. Her gentleness and interest in you as a individual led many of us to be better persons let alone better at our chosen careers. Her love for Laurel, Jack and other family were examples for us all. I will miss her. Thoughts and prayers are sent to Laurel and family.

Nancy Crewe was a great asset to our Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She personally mentored many of us including me on caring for disabled patients and research. Her dignity and ability to clarify and solve conflicts with a smile was superb. She has left many clinicians and patients better off.

I was a fellow CACIL board member with Nancy for years. I never met a more loving and gracious person, and yet she was tenacious when it came to advocating for people with disabilities. Her contributions to the independent living movement are something that people with disabilities have and will continue to benefit from for years. Thank you Nancy for your years of dedication. You will be greatly missed.

What a loss to all of us! Nancy was a true mentor and incredible lady. She touched the lives of so many and will always be an inspiration to me. She guided me, smiled and expected no less than excellance. She loved her family, community and exemplified humantiy, kindness, strength and wisdom. To me she was a role model, mentor and incredible human being. My deepest sympathy to all of her family and loved ones.
