Not sure what to say?

Tally Ho! Nancy would shriek with delite, raising a glass of warm liquer in salute with one hand- and holding one of her crazy hats onto her head with the other, as our horses and hounds roared off across her Tahoma fields in search of the imaginary fox.

Nancy was a great friend to me and other awkward teenage girls in love with their horses. She taught poise and manners, to the girls and the horses.

Dear Family of Nancy Daugherty,
I had so many wonderful memories of riding at Nancy's wonderful Tahoma farm duing the mid 70's She was very kind to share her beautiful trails and riding tips with the local 4-H group. Many of us would trailer out to her farm for riding lessons or just to enjoy a trail ride. Even after almost forty years I can still hear her say "get your heels down" when my legs were not in the proper position when riding.
I'm sure she touched many lives.

Dear Bill and Bob:
Your Mom was one of the early pioneers of Tahoma Audubon. She pushed environmental education, understanding forests, and great social gatherings.
I enjoyed visiting with her and one year she and I labeled the plants in the Native Plant Garden at Point Defiance.
She always supported my Birdathon.
Savor your memories and pass along her legacy to the next generations.
I think of you often.
Helen Engle, still working for wildlife and special places.
