Mrs. Nancy Sturmer Derrey

I think of Nancy often.

Just found out from Petet Mangin about Nan's passing. I just want to convey my deepest sympathy to all of you.

I was hoping to read someone's memory from Crones. If I have the right person in Nancy, John and I have great memories of our discussions with Nancy and Bob sitting around the bar. I hope I'm writing to the family I think. Was Bob a graduate of Millburn High School as we are? We also shared several times with their daughter, who was very dedicated to caring for her parents. We were arriving at Crones a couple of weeks ago and saw Nancy and Bob leaving in the parking lot with I'm assuming...

My friend "Sturm"...so many memories from high school, college and beyond! Traveling to Westfield was always a treat when we all could stay at your beautiful home - especially for our reunions.
My deepest condolences to Bob and the entire family.

Nancy Derrey was a vibrant lady. She was a customer of mine for years, Portico In Short Hills and Williams Sonoma in Westifeld. I delighted in helping her whenever I could. She was a wonderful person with a great wit. I will always remember her for saying "When I told Bob I was going out he asked if I was going shopping. I told him I assure you Bob I don't shop I buy." My condolences to the family

You don't know me, I never met your family, but I just wanted to pass on that as I was reading the obituaries this morning, I came across your wonderful and moving tribute to your grandmother. I just wanted to say how moved I was and I sure your grandmother would be too. So sorry for your loss.

Nancy, "Sturm" will be in my memories and heart as long as it beats. My love and thoughts to Bob and all the family too. She will be missed by so many. "Haf"....the Madam of Hells Bells.
