She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Elizabeth and Jeannie and her husband of 65 years, Thomas DeStefano. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Ellen) DeStefano of Bow, NH, by her daughter, Diane (Kevin Temple) DeStefano of Concord, NH, by her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew her as “Gma,” as well as several nieces and nephews. Nancy loved to jitterbug dance, travel, go on cruises, exercise to include golf and cross country skiing, go to the theater, sing and listen to the Irish Tenors.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road in Concord on Saturday, January 4th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the Church Hall.  Burial will be held privately at a separate time.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA or Bishop Brady High School in her honor.

Not sure what to say?

As an auditor with the State in the 80´s, my first assignment was Post Secondary. It was here I met Nancy and a wonderful person she was. Now retired, I think of Nancy time to time as I reflect back to those people that bring pleasant memories. It was later I worked with her son Steve in the legislature and he too was a joy to work with. Knowing his mother was Nancy, it all makes perfect sense. Great family and rest assured she led a wonderful life of work and family. Grateful our paths crossed.

Steve and Diane I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

On behalf of the entire Dumont Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
