Not sure what to say?

What a beautiful woman...She saw me grow up...a mentor in the cheerleading world as well as an icon....Very loved..god bless xo

Miss Dittmar was my fourth grade teacher and perhaps the reason I became a teacher. She was such a positive role model, who gave us wonderful memories that lasted a lifetime.

Miss Dittmar was my 4th grade teacher and my friend. I used to have her shoes mended for her at Presto's. She let me be a cheerleader for #1. I didn't think I was good enough. She was beautiful and kind. Thankyou Miss Dittmar job well done!

She was the best teacher ever! I will never forget the impact she made on my life at a 4th grader. She always took extra time for me to listen to me sing, etc. She was a wonderful cheerleading coach. I will never forget her and quite often think of her. My prayers are with you. I know I will see her again in heaven.

I am so very sorry to hear this sad news. Miss Dittmar was one of my most favorite grammar school teachers and high school cheerleading coach. I can still see her smiling face in grammar school saying "farewell" in the language of her choice. All her students looked forward to it. "Dos Vidanya", Miss Dittmar. God speed!!

I met Nancy when I started coaching the cheerleaders at Emerson HS. During those years she became a good friend, and we encouraged our squads to do the same. Sadly, we lost touch as the years passed. She was a warm and wonderful person. My sincere sympathies to her family. Nancy will be missed by the many young women whose lives she impacted.

I remember a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye.

I was a MHS cheerleader from 1964 thru 1967 and am very sad to hear of Miss Dittmar's passing. She was a great coach and a kind, loving person. I'm glad I got to see her at her retirement party. She will always be in my heart. My condolences to her family.

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
When I embark;

For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place
The flood may...
