Nancy A. Dovidio of Warminster passed away on August 4, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Dovidio, Sr. with whom she had shared over 30 years of marriage. Nancy, daughter of the late Alex "Duke" and Katie Dudek, was born in Heidelberg, Germany during her father's career in the U.S. Army. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by three children, Andrea E. Arking, Richard A. Dovidio, Jr., and Dominic A. Dovidio and his wife Dana, five grandchildren Anthony, Emma, Giordana, Kayleigh and Jake, four siblings, John, Kathleen, Wanda and Andrew. Nancy is survived by countless friends. Nancy loved spending time on the beaches of Holgate, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. One of her greatest joys was being acknowledged as Queeny LBI. Along with her passion for walks on the beach searching for treasures, she lived for finding a great bargain and that perfect tchotchke. The ideal day for Nancy was sitting on her hill at Beach 1, working on her tan, fluff in hand with Billy the seagull at her feet. She took pride in helping to maintain the sanctity and beauty of the beach by picking up litter along the shore. She always had a friendly smile and wave for every one who passed her by. Nancy showed beauty and grace throughout her battle with breast cancer. Her positive attitude and abundant strength radiated to all around her during her treatments at Alliance Cancer Center. She was our very own Wonder Woman. Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Wednesday, August 9th after 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro and are invited to attend her inurnment on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Avenue, Newtown, PA 18940. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy’s memory may be made to Susan G. Komen, 125 South 9th Street, Suite 202, Philadelphia, PA 19107 or Gilda's Club Delaware Valley, 200 Kirk Rd, Warminster, PA 18974.

Nancy was our long time neighbor at Farrenyville and long time friend of the family. She had a smile that could give you a sunburn on a cloudy beach day and was always so pleasant to be around. A few gestures that she made in her last few months really stood out to me. She put together an album of edited pictures of my father, Carmine's, epic pirate wedding which had happened just 6 months before he passed away. As hard as it was for her to go through those pictures, it was something she...
