Not sure what to say?

I was in one of the first classes that Mrs. Drewett taught at Cedar Cliff. She did not have a room of her own at that time, so she was always of the run. Our first introduction to her was when she entered the room with her arms loaded with books and bags. She introduced herself to us and then told us about her children and her reasons for moving back to the Camp Hill area. She was like an exotic drink. We could not get enough of her. She showed such respect for the what students thought and...

To the Drewett family I am so very sorry for your loss. I am a former student of Mrs. Drewett I was from the class of 1987. Mrs. Drewett was a wonderful teacher. I had a tough time with English, but for the first time in my high school classes I finally GOT IT !! She was a tough teacher, but I learned from her.
I will always remember the beautiful review that she wrote for me to receive a scholarship from vo-tech for nursing. Her review helped me to win that scholarship award. I continued...

Dear Drewett Family,
I am sorry for your loss. I was a student (class of 1989) and still often think of Mrs. Drewett. She allowed us to think and discuss what we learned and come up with our own decision on what a piece of literature meant. She will always be in my treasured memories.

It is heartwarming to read the comments from Nancy's former students. She was an excellent teacher who took the time to learn to know and care about her students. She made a difference.

Melissa,
So sorry for your loss. May your memories give you comfort during this difficult time. I will keep you in my prayers.

Our sympathy from the family of Mimi McCloskey Moore

I'm so sorry to hear this, and want to give my deepest condolences. Mrs. Drewett was my favorite teacher from Cedar Cliff, and one of the few inspirational teachers I ever encountered. Although I haven't seen her since my graduation in 1983, she left a lasting impression on me.I will be forever blessed and grateful.
