Nancy Ehrle

What a beautiful picture you chose for us to remember Nancy. We both worked at The Upjohn Co. for Dr. Ervin Novak. Being a gourmet cook, she invited me to share in her all pumpkin dinner where she served pumpkin soup, pumpkin stew and pumpkin dessert. I came across a news article in the Kalamazoo Gazette from 1986 with a picture of Nancy in the kitchen as the Grand Prize Winner of the Gazette's Holiday Recipe cooking contest. I was so fortunate to work with Nancy through WMU´s Partners in Dance for many years. Our friendship grew through numerous trips to Grand Rapids to visit the closest Chico´s for our shopping fix. She left an indelible mark on the area dance scene and on my heart. I so admired her kindness, generosity, wisdom and quick dry wit. Blessings to the family as you celebrate an incredible life.

So very sad to hear that Nancy is no longer with us, but her volunteerism lives on in a thriving Partners in Dance at Western Michigan University. So loved the times I spent with this kind, generous and very wise woman

I have a needlepoint recipe card holder Nancy made for me many years ago when I worked for Woody. She was such a lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
