Nancy and her parents became my dental patients in the 1970s when Olan Kibler retired as their dentist. We immediately hit it off as I have always been fascinated by travel and geography. Most of our dental visits were consumed by discussions of recent and upcoming travel. I will miss her great sense of humor.

i enjoyed meeting Nancy on her annual trips to London. I think the most memorable thing we did was to visit Highgrove, Prince Charles' home in the Gloucestershire, one autumn with a group from my church. Nancy had forgotten her walking stick and we had a lot of ground to cover visiting Prince Charles' beloved gardens. Fortunately we had lunch at Highgrove before our tour and she bought a Highgrove umbrella (golf size) so that substituted for her walking stick - though the ground was moist...

I worked with Nancy at the Latin School of Chicago. She was a caring teacher that loved her students. She always had a charming wit. Nancy loved to travel and loved her Cubbies as a rabid fan. Thoughts and prayers to Nancy's family and friends.

Nancy and I taught at The Latin School for many years. I have wonderful memories from the fifth grade retreats in Lake Geneva. Nancy was such a good sport when we short sheeted her bed, giggling at the prank like a summer camper. I always looked forward to our annual outing to Wrigley Field to cheer on Nancy's Cubbies. Nancy always included me in the summer luncheon with retired Latin faculty. Most special was the luncheon that had a Cubs theme. Nancy kicked off the day with a rousing...

We moved to Forest Glen in 2013 right next door to Nancy. She would always stop and chat as she was off and about busy with friends and travel. A beautiful, classy and intelligent lady, always asking about our kids and family. A gem of a neighbor and a blessing to have known.
