Nancy and Santos
Nancy, I know are probably reading from above,
I want to thank you for making me laugh, taking care of Santos for me, and being a good friend.
I so miss you, and so does Santos, by the way, he tried to bite me today, so yes, behave Santos!
I know you are with Windy now, and having some laughs.
And, I'm praying for strength for Mike and Jake at this time.
If we could all be as strong as you.
I love you,
Cinco

Nancy, I remember some wild times back in high school but you turned those times into lessons to benefit the troubled kids you helped. I'm so impressed with your accomplishments. I'm sure you will be greatly missed.

There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. Though time passes, the memories of your loved one never fade. May they continue to be cherished and may the God of all consolation give you peace during these grieving times. (Jeremiah 29:11,12)

I was TYC's General Counsel during the time Nancy was at TYC. There is little I can add to the beautifully written obituary for Nancy in today's paper. It captures so well all that she was to the youth she served in TYC and to all of us who worked with her over the years. Her dedication to our cause was genuine and infectious.. Even in difficult times she was positive and upbeat. She truly led by example. She was a good friend. My condolences go out to her family and friends. She'll be missed.
