Not sure what to say?

Dear Hugh.....I first met Nancy when she was a patient on our Orthopaedic Unit at Lutheran General Hospital. What a profile in courage she was!! Nothing got her down. I will never forget her. The last time I saw Nancy she was a patient at Northwestern on the Ortho Unit and we were there for a tour. What a surprise!!! My deepest sympathy to you on her loss. Please know that others do care and share in your sorrow. I will always remember the great strenght she demonstrated through all her...

Hugh,

Words cannot express how saddened I was to hear of Nancy's passing. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

Hugh,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I regret that I will not be able to attend the service on Sunday at the Museum in Elgin as I will be out of town this week-end. Hope you find comfort in the memory of the contributions your wife made to all of us.

Nancy is a friend forever. Sincerity, frankness and vision are traits we'd all like to be remembered for having.

I first met Nancy when I was working for the City of Elgin's Parks and Recreation Department. She was always an absolute delight to chat with and work with and will be greatly missed. The pain she endured the last few years, coupled with the trauma of cancer (I've lost three family members in 4 years to that dreaded disease so I understand how devastating it can be) it at least gone now and she is truly at peace with God. God Bless Nancy and her family.

Dear Hugh and Family,
My sincere regrets to you and your family. The loss of Nancy is a tragedy to all who knew her.
May the wonderful memories be your comfort in the time to come.
Sincerely,
Joanne

Hugh,

The community is a much better place because Nancy and you dared to look inside. Peace and prayers to you and your family.

Hugh,

May the presence of our Lord and the prayers of your friends give you strength at this time. My sympathies to you and yours.

Your friend,
