Not sure what to say?

Still in our thoughts at Timberline

I met and knew Nancy for several years in 1970 through 1974. I dated her and fell in love with her. It was impossible not to love her. She was beautiful and fun! But my job then took me far afield. So in time it was unfair to be in her life and in her way. I miss you beautiful Nancy. I always did. I always will.

I am so sad to hear of Miss Erickson's passing. She was my physical education teacher in South Plainfield. One of the few teachers I remember. Because of her genuine kindness, she will remain in my heart forever. She once said in health class don't get married to be happy but to be happier. I passed that along to my children. She was my favorite.

Ms. Erickson meant a lot to me as a teacher and coach. I have thought of her many times throughout the years. She was one of two teachers in SP to make a difference in my life. She was a saviour when I had a really difficult time. I will miss her. Class of '88

Nancy you were the reason I am where I am now. One word you taught me that will forever stuck with me "Endurance". Every time I wanted to give up your face and voice came to my mind. You will be truly missed one of the greatest woman I have ever gotten to know R.I.H another angel to watch over us.

I am heartbroken to hear the news about Nancy Erickson's passing. She was one of the most genuine and positive people i have ever met. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to know her and to work for a principal that always had both the teachers and students best interests in mind. Her kindheartedness left a lasting impression on all of us. She will be truly missed.

When we are young and impressionable, we come across a few people that stimulate our minds and help us find direction and purpose for the rest of our lives. We gather the good from those few which guides our passion for our work and play. When Nancy Erickson first came to SPHS, she became one of those people for me. I am deeply saddened by her passing, but I am grateful for her time in my life and how those lessons have carried me throughout the years. I am also grateful for the many lives...
