Not sure what to say?

Dear Tom and Amber,
I was so very sorry to learn of the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful wonan. It was such an honor to have her choose me as your fifth grade teacher, and I looked forward to our visits. She was always so interested in your progress and so pleased that you did so well. She was also very highly respected in the school district, as she was a born teacher and was always gracious when asked to mentor or advise new teachers. She will be deeply missed by all of...

Nancy was just a wonderful person.. there isn't any other way to put it...she was so kind-hearted and was always so thoughtful. Almost every morning for all the years we worked at Fullerton together I would go in and talk with her...she always had a big smile on her face and she always made a person feel like what they said at that time was the most important thing....We were the first ones who saw the 911 tragedy at school as we would always have the news in the computer lab...I would come...

Amber, Tom, and family,

I taught with your mom at Fullerton Magnet School from the time she came until I retired in 2003. One of my favorite things to do was to stick my head into her room and try to scare her.
Sometimes I would scare both Nancy and Rox...which was the most fun.
Nancy was such a caring and open person..she always made me feel like I was important when talking with me. Her smile and laugh will be with me always. I will miss Nancy...but know that I will see her...

I am sure that the family and friends, with the exception of a few, will not know who I am. The important thing, however, is to express what Ms. Fredricksen was to me.

As you may have already guessed, I was once one a student of hers. As a matter of fact, it may have even been the first class to which she was assigned at Minne Lusa. It was the fall of 1974. She had been given the dubious job of teaching a split level class. It consisted of both 5th and 6th graders. I was a 5th...

I have been friends with Nancy since she came to Fullerton when we turned into a Magnet School. She was like a big sister to me.What a great bubbly person, wonderful laugh, and a heart of gold. We often went golfing and played dominoes together. We shared a room together in North Carolina at the Magnet School's of America Conference a few years ago and toured the city. Thanks to her comments to our principal, she recommended me to take her place when she retired in the Magnet Focus lab in...

Amber, Tom, and family,
Your mom was the best co-worker anyone could ever have. I was truly blessed at Fullerton to share responsibilities in the computer lab with her and then to become terrific friends as a bonus. We shared a lot of frustrations with technology, but we also shared some great laughs. Every time the Fullerton group gets together for a game of dominoes, we will celebrate Nancy's wonderful & giving life. My sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Amber and Tom--Please accept my most sincere condolences. Nancy was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend to so many of her former students. She touched so many lives and will be missed terribly. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Amber, Tom and Family,
Nancy was such a great influence to myself and all of the students she taught. I had the privlidge of working with her at Fullerton from the time she and Rox started the Magnet Focus Lab. She was always there for you and always had something positive to say and was always willing to help you out. She helped several students complete projects they never thought they could do.
She was truley one of the best friends I ever had and we shared many Great...
