Nancy was the grandmother of my best childhood friend, Nancilou Zurn. I spent many summers at Mrs. Frost's cottage at Chautaugua Lake. She always made me feel like one of her own grandchildren. I can still remember the smell of freshly baked bread in her beautiful knotty pine kitchen. I also remember her always being so sweet & kind and always wearing a smile. Thanks Mrs. Frost for some of my favorite childhood memories!

Betty, and Family, My deepest sympathy goes to you all. Nancy was such a friend to me you'll never know. She was a tough lady that went thru alot. She was fun and such a true friend. I loved her deeply and she will be sadly missed by me. There's so many fond memeories that I have of her, I could write a book. I hope part of her stays within all of you she was one of the most special people I have ever known. Jean Mitchell- Kasinec

My husband, Bill and I just received word via a telephone call to our longtime friends, Kaye and Dick Kennedy of North East PA of Nancy's passing and am greatly saddened by this news. Our condolences go out to the entire Frost family. My parents, Ernest and Irene Burdick of Ripley NY and the Frosts go back many years. I shared many wonderful memories during my childhood and early adult years of our summer days at Chautauqua Lake and winter days in Florida. Rest in eternal peace, Dear Nancy.

I remember Jack Frost Donuts and Jack Jr. was in my class at Burton School. We used to stop at the store on the way home from school and the family would give us the "donut holes" to eat on the way home. It is one of my favorite childhood memories. Your family was a part of Erie history - our condolences to you.
Sincerely, Mary Janet Yochim Mele
