Nancy's bright light shone in her eyes and in her smile that spread love and joy to all fortunate enough to know her. Her infectious love of life remains evident in the hearts of those touched by the breezes of the Fowl River, or the echo of her footsteps in the many school halls she graced.

I first met Nancy in 1970 in Athens, GA where we were neighbors in a run-down apartment complex, and we developed a friendship that could not be diminished by time or space. I am so grateful that I knew Nancy. Lawrence joins me in sending dearest love to you al

Plants Galore

Nancy Gaillard was principal of the elementary school in Charlotte that my son attended. She was remarkable and brought a guiding light to the Montessori program. It was evident to all parents that Nancy supported her staff, collaborated effectively with parents/guardians, loved her students, and had high expectations for the students and the school.
