Read MoreNancy and I sat near each other in kindergarten, jumped rope at recess, joined the Girl Scouts together, giggled at uncountable slumber parties, played in the school band (she played a wicked French horn), acted in school plays and actually, my very first date was a "double" with Nancy. She was a bright, witty, loyal friend - AND achieved a Black Belt in karate! A lifetime friendship that never ended. Wonderful woman, to be missed by so many.

Grew up in Sheffield with Nancy and can't count the many fond memories. She remained the same gal through repeated problems, refusing to change her wonderful personality through all of them. God speed.
