Not sure what to say?

Dear David & Family: I still think of Nancy and can't believe she is gone. I wish you all the best.

Nancy was always kind and supportive of the students at the Alternative Community School. She was even understanding when another junior high school student and I used the ladder in her office to access the roof of the Ithaca High School E-building and took a walk up there. Thankfully we returned in one piece. I always enjoyed seeing her when I was back in Ithaca vising my parents.

Dear David and Family: Merrill and I were so saddened to her about Nancy. I will never forget how warm and welcoming you and Nancy were when I was at Cornell Summer in 1977. We were so delighted that you could be with us at Jenna's Bat Mitzvah and that we got to see you at Debra's wedding. I have very fond memories of Nancy and we wanted you to know that our hearts go out to you and your family. With love and comfort, Seth, Merril and Jenna.

Nancy's vibrant life is a testimony to the power of one to impact hundreds of children and youth and those who love them. With gratitude for her gifts and sympathy for her family and friends.

Dear David and family: I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was such a wonderful person. She offered support, she helped make my first years at [L]ACS positive ones. She gave to us so we could give to others. My condolences to you all.

Nancy was my guidance counselor at Ithaca High and I regularly babysat Laura and Andrew. I loved Nancy to bits. The world is distinctly less beautiful without her smile and laugh and kindness. Hugs and my most sincere condolences to David, Laura, Andrew and the grandchildren.

Dear David and family, We are so very sorry for your loss. Nancy was a bright light in the room. She had such a warm smile and engaging personality. She will be missed. You are in our thoughts.

Dear David, my deepest sympathy with your loss. I’ll always remember Nancy as the lovely young woman, the friendly neighbor, during your early years here in Ithaca. How sad, that she is gone. Thinking of you and your family in your deep sorrow. Tinny Oey

Dear Nancy’s beloved family, I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy was a dear friend and confidant of mine for many years. We talked almost every week, either in person when she was in California or by phone was she was in Ithaca. I will miss her very much. Nancy was so kind and no nonsense about life and all it’s ups and downs. She loved all of you so much and was so proud of her dearest grand children. I will hold a special place in my heart for Nancy and will honor her memory by doing...
