Nancy Gilbert in the 1940s
I knew Nancy for only a short time, as a "shirttail relative," but I enjoyed visiting her, seeing Broadway Rose plays with her occasionally, and admiring her strong personality and sense of adventure. I wish I'd got to see her slides of her travels. She spent a summer or two with my mother in Albany in the 1940s--photo attached. May she enjoy her new place as she described it!

Although I did not personally know Nancy I remember seeing her name with many of the activities going on in King City. The manner of her parting was priceless..."an offer she could not refuse". What a special lady she was and is now enjoying her "new residence" and peaceful comforts.
