My wife, children and I met Mrs. Gordon while in Saugatuck shortly after her husband passed. She and her nephew invited us their docked boat for a drink, our kids were small and were running wild. When I told them to calm down and Mrs. Gordon insisted to let them be kids! She was clearly a very kind and down to earth lady who had some proud Irish roots of her own! Blessed to have been a part of both of their lives. I will forever cherish the time I got to spend with Nancy getting to know her and hearing many great stories.

I didn't know your grandmother, Katie, but this lovely obituary made me wish I had. I am sorry for your pain, but glad she's back with her beloved John. May she, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
