I had just been thinking about Nancy this week. She was a fierce advocate for what was practical and what was right. In 2008, she proposed closing Marks Meadow School to help the town live within its means. Some at the time thought she had lost her mind. Yet that is exactly what the town did just a few years later. I am glad to have had the chance to have seen Nancy in action in Town Meeting. She will be missed.
