Not sure what to say?

I taught band, choir and orchestra at Harriet Tubman Middle School and Nancy instructed the band girls in sewing their band outfits. I also was the musician at her wedding to Dr. Green at the Portland Tennis Club. A truly remarkable woman.

Nancy was such a beautiful human being-both inside & out. She was an extremely giving person who enjoyed life. We shared our teaching profession & our exercise classes at our club. I miss her dearly...

Dr. Green, we are sad for you and the loss of such a wonderful woman. Nancy was kind, warm, friendly, and fun. We will miss her "visits" with us and also the great parties she threw. It was evident by her welcoming manner that she loved people and cooking! She was a classy lady and is much missed. Take care.

Nancy and I taught at Tubman for several years. I saw how truly she added to so many young lives.

Nancy was a sweet soul went to high school and reconnected later playing tennis with husband. She will be missed by all of us. Marc Iseri MD

Nancy was a high school classmate of mine. Well loved by everyone, kind, caring and always had a smile on her face. May she rest in peace she will be missed by all who knew her.

Please accept my condolences. Nancy shined a bright light in our workout classes and was always such a sweetheart. She will be missed. Sadly, Myra Friedman

I was so saddened and surprised to hear of Nancy's passing. She lives in my memory as the amazing woman who cared for the child of a young woman weekly for months, if not years. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I just happened to see Nancy's obituary and am sad to hear about her untimely passing. I knew her and Gerald as genuine ART PEOPLE, frequent visitors to my gallery, with a love of fine art who had great taste and a great sense of humor. I really had no idea of her early experiences on a farm and the "If you were invited to the White House" class at Franklin. What a full life. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Love, Mark Woolley
