Not sure what to say?

Nan was the most wonderful person and next door neighbor anyone could possibly have enjoyed. Her zest for family, friends and life are incredibly missed. I hope she and George are sailing their hearts away in heaven!!!

Nan played so many important roles in my life. I am sure that she is responsible for convincing my mother that I should go abroad as an exchange student through AFS. I had a wonderful life-changing experience in New Zealand. We had mutual friends sailing around the world whom we would join in various places. Nan wanted to send her daughter to Venezuela to join them but didn't want her to go alone - so I spent two weeks sailing the beautiful coast of Venezuela with Laura and the Spooners....

My best friend as a child was Judy Gregory. Her mom(Nan) and my mom(Shirley) started the Vermilion Day Camp which they ran during summers from college. My mom ran the land sports, and Nan, the water sports. Judy and I have long joked that we must have been switched at birth due to her love of horses and my love of boats! Nan was an inspiration to me. She lived her life with zest and delight and knew how to encourage everyone to have fun and get better at a new skill. She taught me how to...

Bob and I are so sad to learn of our good friend and neighbor, Nan's death, and want to share our grief and sympathy to all of her family and friends. Nan was the very best neighbor that we ever had and we will miss her love of life and great enthusiasm in everything she did. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. We know that she is comforted by being back with the 'love of her life, George. We loved them both!! Marta and Bob Schneider

I loved Nan. She was a person that welcomed you into her heart with that twinkling smile, kindest heart, warmest hug, and eyes that looked right into yours and said, "I get you, you are great the way you are, and I like you!" She was so sharp and remembered those details that most people miss. She was interested and SO interesting! What a life she experienced. The adventures, the fun, the love, the balance, the loss, the grace with which she carried on and beamed brightly for everyone to...

We send our condolences to the Gregory family. We met Nan years ago when our daughter, Madelene, ran cross country with her grand daughter Charlee. We so enjoyed the times she was in Greenville. A few years ago at a dinner, Laura brought Nan and she met my mother, Betty. It was delightful to see those two beautiful ladies talk about "old times" . They were only a few months apart in age and had so much in common. Nan was always so full of life. She enhanced her environment and was such a fun...

Nan was a treasured tennis partner and friend in the Bahamas, always with a ready smile and a drop shot. I spoke to her on the telephone a while ago and we reminisced. My sympathy to the family from the Georgian Bay where I sailed two days ago with my son Ben on his trimaran. Years ago George and Nan took him and his family out from TC in their sloop. With love Elisabeth Bacque

The extended Jones family sends condolences to the Gregory family on the loss of dear Nan. From our years in RR and St. Peter's to the years in Huron & Vermilion, sailing, dining, drinking and enjoying Nan & George was a delightful part of our parents, Bunny & Hal's part in Camp Never Stop! Personally, a trip to Ohio always meant time with Nan. And phone calls with her on a regular basis until the last one when I had to sadly tell her in June that my brother, Andy, had passed...but on his...

I loved getting to know Nan in Treasure Cay. She was a very special lady and loved by all who knew her.
