Mom, your life was built on faith, family, friends and your work ethic. I could not have had a better role model, or a better mother. I'll miss you, but I know you are "home."

She was one of the people who made Carbondale a good place to grow up. I am sorry for the family's loss.

Today when I told someone that my great-grandmother had passed away, they asked me what her secret was (to get the chance to be a great-great-grandmother). I told them she was the most kind and most genuine person I had ever met. She loved her family more than anything and she deserved to see her family grow and grow.
