Nancy Lynn Hack (Markle), 66, died Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Redbanks Nursing Home, Henderson, KY, surrounded by family and friends. She had been suffering from chronic kidney disease and related conditions for several years.

Nancy was born March 1, 1959, in DuBois, PA, to Richard L. Markle and Ruth L. (Braund) Markle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William Hack, brothers Jerry Markle and Bruce Markle, niece Ruth Ann Ojeda, and great-nephew Jason Mailhot. She is survived by sisters Marilyn London (David Jackson) of Albuquerque, NM and Carol Simon (Paul Simon) of New Braunfels, TX. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Emily Markle of North Las Vegas, NV and Jan Greenwood-Markle of Henderson, KY, nephew Christopher Simon (Ming), nieces Vanessa Markle (Art Hori), Sherry Markle, Alexis Watterson (Bryan), Jessica Greenwood-Markle, and Richelle Kokol (Emerson), several great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins around the country.

Nancy graduated from Trinity High School in Washington, PA in 1977. She attended Washington and Jefferson College. She retired from Edward P. Jones as a Branch Office Administrator in 2020. She was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Ladies Society. Nancy loved to cook and especially to bake, and many friends and family were recipients of her fabulous cookie collections on holidays.

The Markle family thanks the Hospice team of Redbanks for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the National Kidney Foundation in Nancy's memory. No memorial services are planned.

Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Sandy Day Chappel

Nancy, I love you so much! fly high beauty!!

I had the privilege of transporting Nancy to Dialysis at least one day a week. We talked and laughed about everything. I know she has received the ultimate healing which she has so deserved. She will be missed. Often thought about too.

Nancy was dear to her Handy hospitality family, appreciated for her delicious contributions and recognized for her generous spirit. We are grateful for Jan, Alexis and Jessica bringing Nancy together to build her Henderson family. My sincere condolences to those who loved her most. May Nancy rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.
