Then, now, and forever, I love you, Nancy Jane.

Mrs. Hackworth was my 3rd grade teacher at Northeast Elementary. When my mom told me of her passing, it brought tears to my eyes. I remember her warmth, her caring personality, and her smile. One of my favorite memories was raising chicks in an incubator in the back of the classroom. I was so excited waiting for those chicks to hatch and writing in our science journals as we watched them throughout the process. I think she inspired my love of Ramona Quimby and Beverly Clearly. I worked with Nancy at Northeast Elementary. She was always friendly and helpful. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have known and worked with Nancy for a long time. She was sweet, intelligent and she adored her family. Many prayers of healing for her family. She will be missed.

Nancy taught my son and daughter at Northeast Elementary School in the early 90's. What an impact she made on them both. Her caring nature showed through with every student.
