Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. She was kind, funny, intelligent and incredibly hard working. We were colleagues for a number of years at CIIS. I always knew, no matter what, she could figure out whatever tangled administrative mess I brought to her and do so with kindness, a smile and candy:). To her family, I offer you my deepest condolences. Nancy will be missed.

I send my condolences to Nancy's family and honor her contributions to CIIS as a dedicated and compassionate registrar. Nancy spread her sweetness around her and I was fortunate to benefit from it. Her legacy lives on in the structures she created at CIIS and the many students whose records she kept to enable them to get their degrees.

With great sadness I learned of Nancy's passing and I wanted to share my condolences with her family and friends. Nancy was a bright spirit at CIIS at times when there was a lot of darkness in our halls. She was a special woman and greatly admired.

I was very sad to hear about nancy early semise. we both had a love for our black kitties and shared many a photo back in the days when she was the registrar. my prayers go out to her friends and family.
warmly, judye hess

My deepest sympathies go out to Nancy's family and friends. I was a faculty member in her large fan club at CIIS, and why not? She was upbeat, competent, and a joy to work with. I will always consider her to be one of the "angels" who have crossed my path, a rare and special person who touched my life for a time.

I still remember the day that Nancy said "yes" to my job offer to be Registrar at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I was overjoyed! Nancy brought her unique vision of what we needed at that time and got busy creating a professional and well-run department. Her dedication to CIIS and kind spirit inspired me and made her a pleasure to work with. Rest gently in peace, Nancy, and know that you live on in the hearts and minds of those who were fortunate to know you.

How awful that Nancy is no longer with us! Nancy and I worked together for several years at CIIS and I always enjoyed our interactions, whether work related or personal. She was always generous with her time, her smile and her bottomless stash of M&Ms. She was a hard-worker who also knew how to have fun and even when she was not feeling well could project happiness. I will raise a glass of white wine in her honor! My condolences to her family - my heart goes out to you.

I'm very sad to hear that Nancy is no longer with us. We worked together at CIIS and she was such a wonderful person to know and work with. Her sense of humor and hard working nature is hard to match. I will miss you Nancy..

Nancy was such an amazing blend of compassion, structure and strength. I have missed her since she left the bay area. She started out as my boss at CIIS and turned into a dear friend. My heart goes out to her family. Linda, thank you for being there for Nancy. I know it meant so much to her. I will miss her.
