Nancy passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Nancy was a resident of Village, Virginia at the time of passing. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel with interment following at Henderson United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road Glen Allen, VA 23060 or Riverside Tappahannock Hospice, 289 Hospital Road Tappahannock, VA 22560.

Uncle Hilbert so young, sweet & proud when he first brought Nancy to met his big sister (my mom Irene Packett) - is among my favorite memories. Soon, I was so excited when they married & moved to the big house on the corner, so close to us that I could walk over & feel so welcomed to visit often. Nancy was a pleasant loving person who made me feel that I had a wonderful new friend & aunt. Aunt Nancy grew up in our family & in our hearts becoming a blessing, devoted mother & grandmother. ...
