Nancy Lee Hess

I lost contact with Nancy after we graduated from King's. We were dorm room neighbours on the fourth floor in our final year. Along with our roommates, we had sweet fellowship and shared many cups of tea, Tanzanian coffee, popcorn, late night talks, laughs and tears that year. I have been impressed with Nancy's contributions to education for many years. She truly was a special educator who has positively impacted so many teachers and students. She will be greatly missed. Cindy Holley

Nancy and I shared a classroom for a year at Walter Bickett. She was a dear lady. I got to know a lot about her that year, and she was a good friend to me as I adjusted to a new school. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. Jane Malcomb

I am so very sorry to learn of Nancy's passing. I worked with her for quite a few years at Walter Bickett Elementary School in Monroe,N.C. I always admired her great teaching and really enjoyed talking with her and enjoying our time together. She will be remembered as a very well-educated lady who imparted her knowledge to her students and her coworkers.
