Not sure what to say?

Such a nice and kind lady. I still have very fond memories going to their house for snacks with Rich when we were kids.

As a childhood friend of Richard Hilburn Nancy was such a nice lady. I always enjoyed seeing the family at their home and have fond memories of warm cookies and cold lemonade on hot summer days. Nancy was a wonderful person and the family were all great friends of ours. Our thoughts will always be with Rich, Bev, Susan and their families.

We are very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Sincerely,
Joel and Denise McManis

Thinking and praying for you and your family in this time of grief. Your Mom must have been a special person - kindergarten teachers always are!!

I have so many good memories of Mrs Hilburn as my kindergarten teacher in 1958-59. Nap time, show and tell were special times and to sing. She made all the the kids feel special. The most kind teacher a person could ask for. We lived on 8th and Ave G and she would always make sure at noon I would get across the street alright. Wonderful fond memories. God Bless the family. Susan and Family: What a wonderful kindergarten teacher your mother was to me and I always think of her when I drive by 8th and G and look at Tinley. At nap time I remember sneaking looks at her as she brushed her hair. Wonderful memories. Sorry for your lose and what a terrible disease for a person that gave so much to others.

To Mrs.Hilburn family , I was a student of your mother back in 1958-59. She was a very nice teacher, I always enjoyed her and remember her as a caring person, and a sweet kindergarten teacher. (Tinley School) deepest sympathy Linda Marsh (Travis)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I believe Mrs. Hilburn (Lee) started her education career at Oak Elementary-where I was a student from 1935-1944. She was a member of a great faculty headed up by our Principal Miss Bethel-they all were top-notch educators-my sympathy to her family.
