Not sure what to say?

It seems odd to leave a message of condolences after this long, and also by a complete stranger, although a fellow Texan. But we just watched The Amazing Race, and Nancy was such a loving, classy woman who was the spitting image of one of my dearest friends in Houston. My friend Debbie was very much like Nancy in her sweetness and her strength of character, her love for others, and her sense of adventure from a seemingly quiet and demure woman. She recently went to be with the Lord from...

I've just watched the first season of the Amazing Race, and Nancy and Emily captivated my heart. They gave such main character energy, and I was crying so hard when they were eliminated. The tears kept coming down my face, watching the last 4 episodes didn't feel right without seeing Nancy's charm and Emily's grit. I searched up Nancy and Emily after I finished watching season 1, and to my dismay, I found Nancy had died 12 years ago. I kept crying for a good 10 minutes. After I was done...

My husband and I also just watched Season One of Amazing Race. We were looking up our favorite contestants and were so sad to read of Nancy´s passing. She certainly came across as a kind and caring person!! Blessings to her family.

Just watched season 1 of amazing race, was in awe of such a beautiful soul Nancy was & wanted to look her up & see how she was doing since the show. I'm heartbroken of this news. To her family, please know her kindness & strength touched me. I aspire to have her loving qualities. She will be missed.

We have been so lucky to meet Nancy here in Tuscany! She left but she will be always in our hearts! Tanks John to share your love for her with us!

Happy to be done folding tortellinis.

Even though I only knew her for a brief moment, it was a joy to have spent time with Nancy in Tuscany in 2010. I have fond memories of making pizza and tortellinis with her at the villa. She was such an inspiration and will remain in my heart. Condolences to her family.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God surround you in peace and know you are loved!

I never had the privilege of meeting Nancy. As strange as it sounds, I only 'knew her' from watching her on television... but the strange thing about reality television is it gives people an opportunity to glimpse into the incredible spirit of complete strangers. Though I never met Nancy, I remember how touched I was to see Nancy and Emily get to experience an adventure of a lifetime together. It was so evident that Nancy was such a warm, caring and genuine person and I'm so saddened to hear...

Dear John, Emily, Matthew and Eric, Nancy was a truly special woman. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. Those of us who had the privilege to share the Amazing Race experience with her are sad to lose a part of our extended Race family. Whether it was meeting her for the first time in Zambia or spending time with her in India, I'm happy to have shared one of the highlights of my life with her and Emily. She will never be forgotten and neither will her example of class and patience to...
