Nancy Hulse

Nancy was not my boss at Kaiser Permanente, but the boss of a neighboring department. I was starting to be afraid of getting older, and Nancy made it look sexy and fun. She was funny, forthright, and a pleasure to work with and talk to. When I became a mom, Nancy gave me great advice.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. We were friends in the eighties before she began working for Kaiser Permanente. She was such a bright spot in the world, a smart, warm and kind woman.

Nancy and I became friends while working at OTCU in the early 60´s. She was in my wedding and I was her matron of honor when Don and she married. She lived life at the fullest and held a soft heart for the those who had less including animals. Which leads me to this story: Nancy came to work very upset because a possum was found roaming the streets of Portland put in a jail cell.
