Not sure what to say?

Steve, Sarah, Jen, Kent and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, it's still so difficult to lose someone you love. I loved Nancy, she was such a true and caring person/friend. I remember meeting her at a pre-adoption "class", and then not again until we took a class with our 2 year olds. I never realized how much time we spent together until I looked back on home movies and all of you were in so many of them. Those were such great days. Nancy...

Nancy was fun- she told us stories and laughed a lot. My brother, Doctor Bombay, recalls our times together with Nancy fondly. When she visited us with her own kids- we had fun in the sea. Our trip to Normandy and river cruise to Paris had so many delightful memories.

Dear Steve: I was saddened to read this. May her memory be a blessing to you and your family, always.

Nancy and I were good friends when I lived in Oregon and just a street or so away from me. We spent many holidays together. We were pregnant at the same time. Our firsts, Sarah and Pamela, were friends. Our second children, Jenny and Chuck, played together, too. I loved our early Thanksgiving's with the kids dressed up as Indians or Pilgrims (those New England roots). We established some fun Christmas traditions, too. Nancy and I shared so much over cups of excellent drip coffee. We both...

I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Nancy - in person and on the phone - that I can't reveal them all. One stands out - a baby shower she gave for my son. He's now 39. She was one of the best friends I ever had, always present with an open heart, and giver of good, solicited advice, which I needed and used. I will miss her as I know her beautiful family will. We shared so much, including a vast history, with ancestors in Rhode island (for her) and Florida (for me) long before...

I am so very sad to read of Nancy's passing. I was more than privileged to teach her three children, Sarah, Jenny and Kent in high school. She and Steve instilled in them an incurable curiosity, intellect and compassion for others. And a remarkable sense of humor! Nancy and Steve were so very supportive and kind to me, always in my back pocket. We have lost a true gem; my deep love to her family. Kathy

What a beautifully written testament to Nancy´s life. She was a wonderful person. So kind, so caring, so loving and full of the joy of life. She will be sorely missed.

Steve, Very sorry to hear about Nancy's death. Our prayers are with you and your family. My hope is that you can find strength and hope during this difficult time. Clayton Mohr (503 887-8389)
