Dearest Nancy, I still miss you often.....Your smiling face, your caring voice, your sweet personality. I miss dropping by your office to visit (not as often as I would have liked) and catching up on mutual friends and activities....and pets. I am grateful to have had you as a friend. I am absolutely devastated to learn today of Nancy's passing. Nancy and I met at Camp Sweeney; she was the very first person I met my first time going to CS in 1982. She was so sweet and loving, kind, compassionate, welcoming - she was everything that everyone has already said about her - and more. After camp ended, she and I would correspond through letters in the mail, and I would ALWAYS look forward to her specially designed envelopes. We did this for years, until we were finally able...

For those who loved Nancy,I send my love and compassion. From reading about Nancy, I am truly sorry that I did not get to know her but the memory of her beautiful smile will remain with me. Debby Surdi

Nancy was one of the dearest people I have ever known. She was kind, thoughtful and endearing. We will miss her in this world but she is one of the people I hope to see in the next. I worked with Nancy for over 10 years at UNT and she was always a bright ray of sunshine and helpfulness to me and to others.

This breaks my heart. I knew Nancy from high school. She was sweet and kind. She was ALL smiles! Heaven just received another angel.

Nancy will be missed so very much by her UNT family. She was kind, patient and generous. It's hard to believe someone so full of life could be gone. Condolences to all her loved ones. <3
