Read MoreI'm deeply saddened by this. Mrs. Kent (as I always called her) and her family lived across the street from us for many years in Colorado Springs. She was part of the fabric of my childhood. That she suffered from dementia, a condition with which my mother now wrestles, is sad. What I will remember is her incredible smile and warmth. Those things last forever.
