Nancy K. Lassiter, 85, of Hampton, VA, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born in Edgecombe County, NC, on January 26, 1936, to the late Mark A. Kearney, Sr and Eva (Bailey) Kearney. Formerly of Cofield, NC, she graduated from C. S. Brown High School within the Hertford County Public School System. She was preceded in death by her brothers David and William M. Kearney; son, Travis N. Lassiter; and husband, Roscoe L. Lassiter. She is survived by son, Gregory M. Lassiter; daughters, Wanda M. Lassiter and Veda L. Lassiter; brother, Mark A. Kearney, Jr. (Delhi); and sister-in-law, Nicey Kearney. Viewing will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 3 pm - 5 pm at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd, Hampton, VA 23669. Homegoing services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA 23666.
