Nancy L. Lombardo

Dear Lombardo family, it was my great pleasure to have known Nancy and worked closely with her through GFWC Ohio Federation of Women´s Clubs. She was truly dedicated to her community and volunteers in many ways. She will be missed and remembered by many people across the state and our International Women´s Federation. Nancy and I served on the GFWC Ohio Board of Directors for years. She was always so proud of her family. We roomed together at many a board meeting. Once, we were at Mohican State Park, and the board rented a cabin. I remember that the bed we shared was a mattress on the floor with a baseboard surrounding it as the "bed frame." Easy to get into bed. Not so easy for her to get out of. I had to crawl over the foot of the bed to get out to help her get up. She wasn't a happy camper then,...
