Not sure what to say?

My sister Nancy was 20 years older than me, so I didn't really get to grow up with her. However, I always felt close to her and was very fond of her. I admired her strong, kind, and gracious personality. She had a wonderful spirit that was always intriguing and fun. I wish I could have spent more time with her over the years. She had many hardships that she suffered through, but always remained strong for everyone. She was a very good hearted person, and I love and miss her very much.

Remembering you in my prayers everyday. Love you, Ginny

Nancy, it´s been many years since you passed but I have never forgotten you and you´re in my prayers everyday. Ginny

My sister Nancy was kind, smart, beautiful
and generous.

I remember one time when she was getting ready for a date, she was wearing a black cocktail dress with black pumps. Her hair was shiny and bouncy. She looked gorgeous.

Also, if memory serves me, she bought us our first television set back in the early fifties.

Oh yes, there was the time she went to California
to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.
She did meet Van Johnson who was a big
star at the...

I'm one of Nancy's four sisters. She was married when I was about three or four, so I didn't get to grow up around her, but I remember all of her visits home when her kids were little. It was always fun when she came home.

I have a great memory of a surprise she left for me one time behind the living room chair. she told me to go look there as she was leaving. It was a huge blow up water toy with a giraffe head for the pool up at the park. What a great surprise!

I always...

I'm Nancy's youngest brother. Wish I had known her better. I was a little kid when Nan was about to set off on her own. I have memories, though. Her husband, Dick, was an Army helicopter pilot. On one of their visits home, Nan and he gave me a Revel model helicopter. It was brown with Army Air Corp decals, very cool. Dick helped me put it together. I still remember. Nan worked at Fenn's Candy in Sioux Falls. She'd bring home the rejected Walnut Crush candy bars for mom and the little kids,...

I am so sorry to hear. Nancy was a wonderful person. I remember when my sisters and i were kids growing up in New Holland (she lived diagonally from us) we would always go see what she was doing and she was always laying on her lawn chair catching some sun in her backyard. She would give us snacks and treats. She used to work with my dad and they were good friends. I will definitely miss her and keep her in my heart.

Nancy was my oldest sister. She had the soul of an artist. When I was a little girl she always asked to say my name "Virginia", but I couldn't pronounce it correctly, so I said "Berdonia". And that is what she called me every time we talked. Now when my other brothers and sisters call me "Berdoia", I lovingly think of 'Nan'.

Because of the difference in our ages, we didn't spend enough time together, which I greatly regret.

I rejoice that she is now with Mom and Dad, her...
