I was just about to call Nancy for the first time in a long time today. For whatever reason, I decided to check, first, to see if she had retired. And then this notice appeared on my screen. My father, Martin Fox, was her mentor. He admired and adored her, always spoke of how brilliant she was, and I know the feeling was mutual. She was a fixture in my life while he was alive. I am so sad to read this news. Nancy was my student at Rutgers Law School in the 1980's and she was stupendous as a student, possessed of a keen mind and a kind heart. She made so many friends and was so well-liked by others. When she went to Fox & Fox she continued to be a supporter of Rutgers Law School by endorsing many students for jobs there.
