Not sure what to say?

Mrs. McKenna was a blessing to me during my very difficult childhood. She was a teacher, mentor, encouraged. The Holy Spirit shone through her. I graduated from Assumption in 1970 and never forgot her.

Mrs. McKenna was my one of my teachers at Assumption of the BVM. I couldn't have had a better, more learned and dedicated teacher in my life.
To this day, I remember her caring way and her devotion to her students.
The world has lost a truly wonderful teacher and human being; my heartfelt condolences to her family,

Orlando Caprari, class of 1974

Mrs. McKenna was an inspirational teacher and mentor. She demonstrated Jesus' love in her work.
She trusted me to babysit John when I was in 9th and 10th grade at St. Andrew's, and I have never forgotten her. That was 1970-72.
My condolences to the family. She was a blessing to so many of us.

She was a wonderful person and teacher! God Bless her Family !!!

God bless the Duncanson family. Warm thoughts and prayer for a dedicated servant. When the bells ring at Assumption, she will be remembered.

A great lady! That is how I remember Nancy from the time we served on the Kinneloa Canyon Association Board. She was firm in her beliefs and gentle in her assessment of a given situation.

Mrs. McKenna was one of my favorite teachers at Assumption. She was my daughter's (Erin Medina Heins) 5th grade teacher as well. My heartfelt condolences to her family. Lots of good memories. Mrs. McKenna's Daughter Carol and I were in the same class. I always wondered how it was to have your Mom as your teacher too. Lots of love, Debbie Jordan Medina

Mrs. McKenna was my teacher at Assumption from 1980-1984. I often reminisce about my time at Assumption and all the wonderful experiences I had. My heart and prayers go you to the family.

RIP Mrs. McKenna. One of the best teachers I have ever had. One of the things I remember most about her was her love of US history, especially the civil war era. To this day I always think of her when I come across something having to do with that era -- her passion for it definitely rubbed off on me. She was truly inspiring as a teacher and had such a beautiful soul. Thoughts and prayers with her family and loved ones.
