Not sure what to say?

I read Nancy's Obit in the Birmingham paper & was surprised to read that she & her husband met @ Jones Beach Field 9 in 1952. I was a lifeguard @ Field 9 in 1952 (& several additional years) & knew many of the young girls from Pt Washington, Malverne, etc. I can't help but wonder whether our paths crossed there but doubt that I would fail to remember someone so remarkable.
My condolences to her family & friends & I imagine that she's walking with "sand between her toes" right now. ...

Our family thanks all of you for your warmth and compassion, as well as sharing so many wonderful memories. We truly did celebrate the life of our mother this week, and though we are mourning still, we feel the joy of her spirit ever stronger, especially with her friends comforting us and supporting us. God bless you all for being such a wonderful part of this amazing life.

Gail, Bill and family..

I will always remember your mom as one of the "younger" moms of my friends
while growing up in N.J. She had a
zest for life and her athletic pursuits
kept her young and vital! That is how I picture her always...and, of course,
those 8 "cubbies" in the mudroom in
your home in Convent Station, NJ!
Sorry for your loss.

Her beautiful smile and sweet/gentle spirit will be missed. May God bless your family at this time. Tara Christion

Nancy was a delight. She lit up a room when she entered. She was easy to talk to, laugh with and work with. She will be missed and remembered.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR THE FOND MEMORIES OF TIMES SHARED TOGETHER. BRONWEN AND GEORGE JOHNSON

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.” I'm sorry for your loss.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Nancy was one of the group that made ISID the gathering so much fun. I will cherish my fond memories of her.
