Nancy C. Nareau

Ludlow- Nancy C. (McCoubrey) Nareau, 74, passed away on May 28, 2024, at the Center for Extended Care in Amherst.  The daughter of the late Raymond T. and Marjorie C. (Lynch) McCoubrey, Nancy was born on July 25, 1949.  She was a graduate of the High School of Commerce and worked as a book keeper for Springfield Corrugated Box Co. for 35 years before retiring.  Nancy was a loving wife to her husband of nearly 48 years, Larry Nareau.  She is also survived by her cherished children, Michael Nareau and his wife, Jennifer, and Andrea Lindsay and her partner, Bruce Sicard; her 3 beloved grandchildren, Sheridan DelGuidice and her husband, Peter, Kaylie Nareau, and Cody Nareau; her precious great-granddaughter, Maren DelGuidice and her brother, James McCoubrey and his wife Mary Kay, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  In addition to her parents, Nancy was also predeceased by her sister, Christine McCoubrey.  She leaves behind a large, loving spiritual family as well, as Nancy was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in October of 1985.  Nancy especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, music and dancing.  Memories of her beautiful smile, her contagious laugh, and quick-witted moments will continue to bring joy and laughter to her loved ones.  She was beloved by many and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.  Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Monday, June 10, at Corridan Funeral Home.  Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 11:00, with a funeral home service beginning at 11:00, followed by committal in Calvary Cemetery.  A Memorial Talk will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 113 Old Lyman Rd., Chicopee, MA
