Read MoreI met Nancy when she served on the Board for Montgomery County Recreation and Parks for the Down County Area. She was so smart and contributed so much to the Board and to all of us as people. I am sad that we lost touch as I always valued her commitment to our county as well as to her students. She was a wonderful person. My sympathy to her family.

Nancy was an inspiration to all who meet her. Living with adult multiple dystrophy diagnosed at 32 she never gave up and lived a full active life. Her students, family and friends were inspired by her kindness, accomplishments and determination to never give up from her wheel chair. The best sister-in-law I could have wished for. Gone from my sight but never from my heart.
